Pictures:

This page will be related to the system. Pictures of this and that. Not necessarly the system itself.

See the dual lobe antenna at the very top? Thats the one I was putting up that day. It really wasen't that hard, just had to take my time and think before I acted. Had to install the clamps first. Had to hoist the antenna and put it in the clamps. Then, hosting the hard line to the connector. All in all for that took about a hour or so.

This picture i'm connecting the hard line to the antennas N connector. This antenna is the RX, the TX is below it, not shown in this picture because it's not on the tower yet...LOL.....

This is a nice shot... There I am, doing the RX antenna.... The lines cought is rope that I used to hoist up the antenna and the clamps to me from the ground. After I was done with them I let them go, the wind blew them on the yaggi's. I'll free them up to the ground when I'm on my way down...

Ok, so here is some pictures of my "Radio Shack". It's really a small spot in the laundry room, under a large shelf. There's my cat. Her name is "Kit Kat". Yes, named after the Chocolate Bar. Why you say? Looks nothin' like the Chocolate bar..... Yes, well, She does look a little like the wrapper of the Chocolate bar. Colors anyway. :-).

Here is my 2 meter (VHF) Radio. Old Midland Commercial Mobile radio. She does 40 watts, and has 99 channels. All programed by me. Had to tweak the TX in order for this radio to work right on the ham frequencies. I really like this radio. I have repeater and simplex frequencies in it.. Scans, and all the normal stuff regular ham radios have.

Picture is almost all of my radio shack. I really prefer the term "Radio Room". Radio Shack sounds like a store that dosen't have much ham radio, er, even almost any radio stuff anymore. They really came down hill diden't they?. Lafayette where are you?.

Here's the left side of my Radio Room. The computers are under the bench. The one, controls the relay radio for the repeater. I have it controlling announcements now. Mainly the time every hour, and ID's. Maybe when it goes 200 foot I'll get another old computer and set up EchoLink off my DSL. maybe, right now, I'll stick with the KISS theroy.
