Back in the early 60's my parents purchased this house here in The Villas. I have been comming down here from SouthWest Philadelphia ever since I was born. During the late 70's and 80's I was one of several engineers working part time for commercial radio stations in Phildelphia. WFLN AM-FM, WIFI 92 FM. I also worked for Fred Chassey from Lafayette Hills as a "As needed" employee. My Full Time employment at that time was working for General Sound Inc. A company that did a wide array of electrical and electronics. Nurse Call systems, commercial sound systems, security, CCTV, MATV, and a host of other electronic stuff.

I am also a licensed Electrician (PA) in several townships in PA, and I did a lot of work in that field. I had my own communications company, Including: Teleconnect, sound, security, and such. Just after 1993 (or so) we moved down here, and also had our company here. After many years of running the company it was time to give it up. So, now, I work for a small company doing speciality installations, repairs, and service work.
My Amateur standing has been only for 6 years now. I really diden't do much with it. Simplexing on and off. Used a few repeaters here in this area for a short time. Probally because I had other interest at the time, like, work, and more work. Thats why I had to give up the business. Now, I have time to do this kind of stuff, and I have a veggie garden in the summer.
The repeaters, are for the injoyment and use of other ham operators. The purpose, to use, talk and otherwise use our hobby. As of now, the repeaters do not use the system(s) for any Severe Weather Nets, No Linked Systems, No Autopatch, No service affiliations at this time. If anyone wants to use the repeater for Races, Ares, or Oem, Please contact me.
The tower has been up for a long time. Installed in my parents day. TV reception has been it's biggest use for years. With multi TV antennas, also known as MATV (Multi Antenna TV). I have at current, 4 TV antennas, and we receive on the average of 25 stations. yes, with a digital converter. Philadelphia, Maryland, Delaware, and sometimes Scranton PA, and New York. I plan to put more UHF TV yaggies as time and $$ wil allow. Want to put three on each leg, therefore getting a average 360 degree. If the stations are there, I'll get em!.

The towers base. The box is for the TV receiving amplification equipment. Each antenna is on a spliter (reversed splitter) then, the one coax goes into a radio shack amplifier, then distributed to the TV's in the house. Kinda like a self contained cable company. Date Unknown: About 8 years ago |
| Here's the TV equipment box. It's actually a telephone box for commercial buildings like a power plant. I converted it for TV reception. The other stuff is for "cable Troff's". Used to mount cables to and from equipment. Date Unknown: About 8 years ago. |

I have the 7/8 healiax lines installed. Actually, they were installed from the old radios from the 80's. They are still in good condition, but need to be re-installed on the tower. The lines goes to the "utility room" where the equipment is going to be. |
|
The tower. This has been up for a long, long time. I think it's 60 foot. The UHF will go on the top, while the VHF will be side mounted just at the top. |
| Closer look at the top. |

Base view. Standing directly on the base, just below the tower. |
