  This peice gets cut out. The rail repaired, then that peice repaired, and then added on to where the rust was... I can not get into the end of the rail without removing this section.

  There are areas on this peice that are rusted away. They will be replaced.

  Found some plastic here. This area will stay. It is done well... However, the rust must go, and the bad metal must go...

  Well, today was rain.... Overcast, dark, and at times, pored rain.... It did stop around 4PM, but too late to start, and too wet... So, we wait until another day... But, I did get a chance today to work on the pictures and the next video :-)... So, the pictures below are from yesterday. I finished the video today.... And, in this video you will see just how quickly I work!.... For now, here's the pictures. Later gator...

  Cutting metal custom patches to weld in... Sometimes, not a easy thing to do.

  The part I cut out is getting fixed, welded back in, and all the rusted away metal replaced.

  Rusted through. About an inch by a 1/2 inch area. Fixed, filled, and patched.

  Viced into place, then welded in. Then, patching from the car.

  After grinding the slag, and the other rust and paint off. We do a pre undercoat.

  Gookin' good!. The undercoat will protect until the whole undercar gets a couple of coats of undercoat.

  Tomorrow, scattered showers, so they say. We'll see how the sky looks after I get my running done in the morning. If looks like a go, at least for a few hours, I'll do it. If not, Sunday is Partly sunny... Rained today, down pours at times. I was working today, so no big deal there. Doing some additional computer work tonight. Until next time. See ya!.

  Another weekend has passed. Rain most of the time, but I was able to do a little bit. The floor pocket area, the rocker panel two rust places, a little bit in the wheel well.. Thats about it... More is planned for next weekend... Here's some picutres.

  Making a paper templet for the rounded area of the well. Then, transfer the lines to metal, cut, and weld in.

  Cut the rest of the missing shape metal, and weld in.

  Grind the welds, smooth the welds, and prep for primer when the time is right.

  The last area to complete this side of the floor is welded in.

  The two rust holes. The left one got bigger as more rust metal has to be removed. It is fixed, and a coat of primer is on. (not shown)

  Wheel well, inside. This little area is the only inside well problem, other than removing cracked undercoat and re coating. I have to pay some attention to under the new peice too. That will be next time. Hopefully, I will remember that.
