Cost for The 1962 Fairlane so far.

This cost sheet counts EVERYTHING. Including things like: Electrical plug for the compressor, Screws for the bend table, Saw blades to build the table. The only cost that is not included is the gasoline to pick up these additional materials. Even though, this tool, part, or material is not spicificly for the car, it's included because it was purchased for use in restoring the car. My labor, my time, is not included.

Imagine how much this car would cost if I included the labor at todays auto shop prices. On a average day, I spend usually over 9 hours on this car, and that is mainly one repair. Example: The fenders. A lot of time is in those fenders about 20 hours or more. But, thats not the point. The point is: This is a 50 year old antique. A car from the past. In reality my past. My first car at age 16. I am 57 now. There are thousands of young people whom never seen a Fairlane, or even know what one looks like. Restoring this antique is fun. Not to mention when it's finished how much fun I will have driving it, and "hanging out" at the local Wawa. Crusing Cape May. Pricless.
